How to Order Snickerdoodle Latte at Starbucks

Since snickerdoodle latte is not on the Starbucks menu, you are likely to draw an awkward stare if you walk up and order a snickerdoodle latte upfront.

To order a snickerdoodle latte at Starbucks, ask for a cinnamon dolce latte with half pumps of cinnamon syrup and white mocha sauce. The default drink comes with whipped cream and cinnamon dolce sprinkles.

You do not want the barista to add the white mocha to the regular pumps of cinnamon dolce syrup unless you want a cloyed drink. Instead, ask the barista to reduce the number of pumps by half and replace them with the white mocha sauce.

You may be tempted to order the drink as a white mocha with cinnamon dolce syrup but you will lose out on the cinnamon dolce sprinkles as they are not part of the topping for white mocha. Adding the cinnamon sugar sprinkles will attract an upcharge.

Snickerdoodle latte or cinnamon dolce latte with white mocha, as some people call it, is a fan favorite among snickerdoodle snobs as it delivers the rich, spicy, and buttery flavors synonymous with snickerdoodle cookies.

I must add that having tried both the regular cinnamon dolce latte and this version with white mocha sauce, the snickerdoodle latte has a far superior flavor and the finish is distinctly smooth. It ranks up there among Starbucks best hot drinks.

How to Order Snickerdoodle Latte on the Starbucks App

When ordering the snickerdoodle latte on the Starbucks app, head over to the hot drinks menu and select the cinnamon dolce latte. Pick the desired size from a short, tall, grande, or venti cup.

Under the type of milk tab, select the desired milk from the available choices of plant milk, two percent, whole milk, nonfat milk, breve, or heavy cream.

The next step is what makes or breaks your snickerdoodle drink. Under the flavors, you will find that by default cinnamon dolce syrup is selected. Take note of the number of pumps of the cinnamon syrup that is selected by default.

Select cinnamon dolce syrup to open a side menu where you should use the minus (-) sign to reduce the number of pumps by half.

The side menu also has a list of the different available sauces. Select the white chocolate mocha sauce and reduce or increase the number of pumps to match the pumps of the cinnamon dolce syrup.

Next, you may want to keep the number of espresso shots as selected by default or adjust for a stronger or a weaker coffee taste. Avoid adding sweeteners lest you end up with a sickly-sweet drink.

And Voila! Place your Snickerdoodle latte order on the Starbucks app.
