Bear in mind that each shot of espresso adds about 70-75mg of caffeine to the 95mg of caffeine in a regular iced chai tea latte.

Final Thoughts

A secret menu iced coffee from Starbucks is not necessarily a new drink invention. Oftentimes a new twist is added to an already existing drink to come up with the secret menu flavor. For example, the secret iced dirty chai latte is an iced chai latte from the core menu with espresso shots.

When ordering Starbucks iced coffee from the secret menu, be sure to state the ingredients that go into the drink as some baristas may not be familiar with the drink.
